1st Grade: Chagall Fantasy Drawings

1st graders analyzed Marc Chagall's "I and the Village" and then learned the meaning of "abstract" (not real). 

I instructed the kids to use oil pastels to draw a picture of a house, flowers, a starry night, and self portrait (and if the kids wanted a challenge, add a food item) making sure to rotate their paper after each picture.
